Kenneth earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree
with First Class Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College,
United Kingdom and a Master of Philosophy degree in Engineering (Computer Speech and Language Processing)
from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, after being awarded the British
Chevening Scholarship by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the British Government.
Kenneth subsequently completed his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London
and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong. Kenneth
is a solicitor admitted in Hong Kong and England & Wales.
Kenneth previously worked at several leading law firms specialized in the area of
intellectual property. Kenneth has been engaged in a range of contentious and
non-contentious intellectual property matters. His experience in contentious intellectual
property matters includes advising multi-national companies on various copyright,
trade mark, patent, domain name and company name infringement matters, trade mark
prosecution matters and domain name arbitration matters. His experience in non-contentious
intellectual property matters includes advising on legal issues in relation to franchising
and licensing agreements, joint venture, encryption law, information technology
agreements, privacy policies and data security.
Kenneth’s working languages are Chinese, English and Cantonese.
